Dott: Micro Mobility
We worked with the European startup Dott, from day one, helping to design & develop new e-scooters, e-bikes, the IOT and their components. Testing and fulfilling certification, as well as establishing the high quality manufacturing supply chains across Asia. The micro mobility industry is fast moving & quickly embraces technological advances. For a competitive edge, it's important to ensure new technology works reliably & can be quickly incorporated into the fleet.

The micro mobility sharing industry requires a compilation of many technologies & vendors that need to "sing in harmony" to ensure that platform works as intended. It is vital that the electronics, IOT, software & hardware are tightly integrated & reliable. Sourcing & working with high quality vendors is a very important part of the development process.
Electronics & IOT
The electronics & IOT platform must work reliably in all weathers, it is critical to ensure that both the Ops team maintaining the fleet & the users can rely on information presented to them, via their respective apps. We worked to ensure the electronics are ruggedized to minimize water ingress & to prevent hacking or privatizing .
Certification & Regulations
We worked to ensure that all the micro mobility sharing vehicles comply with the current and impending regulatory requirements. It is a young industry & the legal framework is catching up with the technological developments, the US & European countries all have different certification standards
